Qualified as a Licentiate of the Insurance Institute of South Africa, Daneel has more than 28 years experience in the South African personal and commercial insurance market, including 15 years in the hospitality insurance industry.

Daneel started her career in 1989 with one of the largest bank insurance brokers in South Africa, gaining valuable experience in product development, insurance administration and project management.

Later, Daneel worked at various privately owned and listed insurance brokerage firms where she honed her technical skills in personal and commercial short term insurance. After spending time with a leading hospitality insurance underwriting agency, Daneel founded Olive Insurance Brokers in 2013.

During her time serving the interests of the hospitality industry, Daneel developed a passion and love for the industry and the people who earn their living from it. Her expert technical insurance knowledge, experience and passion for the hospitality industry makes Daneel the obvious choice as your personal insurance broker.
